The CMC 4ABV-500-1 is a high-quality, dual-rated mechanical lug designed for panelboard applications. Part of CMC’s PosiGrip series, this four-conductor aluminum connector provides reliable, low-resistance connections for both aluminum and copper conductors.
Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and electro-tin plated for corrosion resistance, the CMC 4ABV-500-1 ensures long-lasting performance. Its patented PosiGrip design with unique ridges on the contact surface prevents "hot spots" while providing a secure electrical connection.
Engineered for safety and efficiency, the lug features screws that extend beyond the barrel sides for improved heat dissipation and pull-out resistance, along with a positive wire stop for easy and accurate installation. Compatible with standard insulated Allen wrenches, no specialized compression tools are required.
