The Ferraz Shawmut HSJ15 is a high-performance “High Speed / Class J” cartridge fuse designed for demanding industrial and electronic applications. This fuse offers a 15 amp rating at up to 600 V AC (and 500 V DC) with a 200 kA AC interrupting rating, combining the branch‐circuit protection of a Class J fuse with the low I²t characteristics of a semiconductor fuse.
Ideal for motor controllers, soft‐starters, drives, solid‐state relays, control panels and other systems with high inrush or switching loads, it provides reliable protection while minimizing thermal energy let‐through and reducing equipment stress.
