Product Description
The Ilsco D132 is an industrial-grade, high-capacity mechanical terminal lug designed for superior performance in power distribution and control equipment. Precision-machined from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, this lug is engineered to terminate conductors ranging from 6 AWG up to 300 kcmil (MCM). It is a staple for professional electricians and panel builders requiring a reliable, range-taking connector for switchgear and industrial enclosures.
Every Ilsco D132 is electro-tin plated to minimize contact resistance and provide a permanent barrier against atmospheric and galvanic corrosion. As a dual-rated (AL9CU) connector, it is certified for the safe termination of both copper and aluminum conductors at operating temperatures up to 90°C.

Key Features & Benefits
-
Range-Taking Versatility: Capable of accepting multiple wire sizes within its 6 AWG–300 MCM range, significantly reducing the need for extensive inventory on the job site.
-
High-Voltage Certified: Rated for use in systems up to 35kV (when installed with proper high-voltage spacing and insulation), offering an industrial-grade safety margin.
-
No Specialized Tools: The solderless mechanical connection allows for rapid installation using standard hand tools (hex or slotted drive), eliminating the need for expensive hydraulic crimpers.
-
Bimetallic Protection: Specially plated to prevent the chemical reactions that occur between dissimilar metals, ensuring long-term reliability for both Al and Cu wiring.
-
Reusable Design: Unlike compression-style terminals, these mechanical lugs are reusable, making them ideal for system upgrades, maintenance, or temporary power configurations.
