Product Description
The ILSCO D831 is an industrial-grade, single-barrel mechanical terminal lug engineered for high-integrity electrical power connections. Precision-machined from high-strength 6061-T6 extruded aluminum alloy, this lug is designed to terminate conductors ranging from 6 AWG up to 250 kcmil (MCM). It is the professional standard for terminating main feeders and branch circuits in panelboards, motor control centers, and industrial switchgear.
Every D831 is finished with premium electro-tin plating to ensure exceptionally low contact resistance and to provide a permanent barrier against atmospheric and galvanic corrosion. Its AL9CU dual-rating provides the flexibility to safely terminate both copper and aluminum conductors in standard 600V systems or high-capacity 35kV industrial applications.

✅ Why Professionals Choose the D831
-
Range-Taking Versatility: A single lug handles a wide range of wire sizes (6 AWG to 250 MCM), significantly reducing inventory needs for large-scale industrial projects.
-
No Crimp Tools Required: High-pressure termination is achieved using a standard internal hex drive, eliminating the need for expensive hydraulic dies or specialized tooling.
-
Bimetallic Safety: Specifically engineered to safely connect dissimilar metals (Aluminum to Copper) without the risk of thermal failure or chemical degradation.
-
High-Voltage Certified: Rated for use in power systems up to 35kV when installed with proper high-voltage spacing and insulation per NEC guidelines.
-
Reusable & Maintainable: Unlike compression lugs, these mechanical terminals are fully reusable, making them perfect for maintenance upgrades or temporary power configurations.
