Product Description
The ILSCO TA-2/0 is a high-performance, single-barrel mechanical terminal lug and a signature component of the ClearChoice series. Precision-machined from high-strength 6061-T6 extruded aluminum alloy, this lug is engineered for maximum versatility in panelboards, switchgear, and industrial distribution equipment. It features a chamfered wire entry for easy conductor insertion and a wide range-taking ability that supports wire sizes from 14 AWG up to 2/0 AWG.
Every TA-2/0 is electro-tin plated to ensure exceptionally low contact resistance and to provide a permanent barrier against oxidation and galvanic corrosion. As a dual-rated (AL9CU) connector, it provides a safe, fire-rated bond for both copper and aluminum conductors in standard 2000V systems or high-capacity 35kV industrial applications.

Key Features & Benefits
-
Chamfered Wire Entry: Designed for speed and safety, the beveled barrel entry allows for smooth, snag-free insertion of high-strand or rigid conductors.
-
Precision Hex Drive: The 3/16-inch internal hex socket ensures maximum torque transmission and prevents stripping during high-pressure terminations.
-
Bimetallic Safety: Specifically treated to prevent galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals, ensuring a long-lasting connection for copper-to-aluminum transitions.
-
High-Voltage Versatility: Listed for use in power systems up to 35kV when installed with proper high-voltage spacing and insulation per NEC guidelines.
-
Compact Footprint: The slim L-lug design allows for high-density wiring in cramped junction boxes, gutters, and control panels.
