The Penn Union LA-250 is a professional-grade, single-barrel mechanical terminal lug engineered for high-integrity power connections. Precision-machined from high-strength 6061-T6 extruded aluminum alloy, this lug is designed to terminate conductors ranging from 6 AWG up to 250 kcmil (MCM). It is a critical component for terminating main feeders and branch circuits in switchgear, motor control centers, and industrial control panels.
Every LA-250 is finished with premium electro-tin plating to ensure exceptionally low contact resistance and to provide a permanent barrier against atmospheric oxidation and galvanic corrosion. As a dual-rated (AL9CU) connector, it is certified for the safe termination of both copper and aluminum conductors at operating temperatures up to 90°C.
