The Polaris IPLD5008 is a high-performance insulated multi-cable connector block designed for secure terminations across multiple conductors, sized for 500 kcmil down to 4 AWG, rated for up to 600 V AC, and at a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C.
It features an aluminum-alloy body wrapped in a high-dielectric insulation (plastisol) housing, dual-sided entry ports for flexible wiring, pre-filled oxide-inhibitor gel, and pre-installed hex screws with removable plugs for secure connections without the need for additional taping.
Designed for industrial, commercial, and utility power distribution systems including cable trays, bus ducts, raceways, or panelboards, this connector block simplifies splicing and branching of large conductors with improved reliability and reduced installation time.
